One of the most simplest and economical ways of having a draughtskirt is to have a free standing one.

This is similar to a small windbreak but it is made of strong PVC instead in order that you can cut holes in it for any pipes or lockers and you place a pole either side of your doorway and cut it down for your stairwell.
Being made of strong bonded PVC it will not run or fray like most materials.
