This is a small friendly club that was started in May 1996 by John Cockburn, when he bought out Richard Holdsworth Conversions.
Although the new club was called the Cockburn Holdsworth Owners’ Club, most of the original members had bought Holdsworth ‘vans. Within 12 months Cockburn Holdsworth was absorbed into Autocruise CH, with John Cockburn as Managing Director.
As no more ‘vans are being made under the Cockburn Holdsworth name, and as John Cockburn is no longer connected with the club, They have changed their name to the Holdsworth Owners’ Club.
Many new members are now first time motorcaravanners, who have bought second hand Holdsworth or Cockburn Holdsworth ‘vans.
