A Section of The Camping And Caravanning Club
The Canoe-Camping Club is a national club for touring canoeists and for those who like to combine canoeing and camping. The Club caters for everyone, with a variety of meets around the country. Some are ideal for beginners whilst others challenge the more experienced canoeist. Members are always glad to offer help and friendly advice to newcomers. All ages are welcome, and in particular the Club likes to encourage families. The Canoe-Camping Club has six Regional Groups, which organise day trips and weekend meets throughout the year, as well as longer holiday meets at home and abroad. Some events such as the Easter Meet and the annual Thames Tideway trip are National Events and are attended by members from all over the country. The Groups are not exclusive and members are welcomed on all meets. (Some of the more advanced trips may be restricted to experienced paddlers). For further information click on the weblink below
